Since 2000 that ProxectoTerra, a program of the Colexio Oficial de Arquitectos de Galicia (COAG), conceived to the several stages of compulsory education, aims to sensitize young people to the subjects of heritage, architecture and urbanism through the understanding of their own territorial identity. For some years, ProxectoTerra has been conducting guided tours to the cities of Northern Portugal through exchange programs with national educational institutions, in particular the Municipality of Guimarães, with which COAG maintains a cooperation protocol. MAPa2012, a division of Municipality, has been entrusted to design the maps and guides that helped the students in the interpretation of the “vimaranense” territory.
Desde 2000 que o ProxectoTerra, um programa do Colexio Oficial de Arquitectos de Galicia (COAG) dirigido às diversas etapas do ensino obrigatório, se dedica à sensibilização dos jovens para os assuntos do património, arquitectura e urbanismo, através da compreensão da sua própria identidade territorial. Há alguns anos que o ProxectoTerra vem desenvolvendo visitas guiadas a cidades do Norte de Portugal através de programas de intercâmbio com estabelecimentos de ensino nacionais, em particular do Município de Guimarães, organismo com o qual o COAG assinaria um protocolo de cooperação. Caberia ao MAPa2012, uma divisão da C.M.G. o papel de elaborar os mapas e guias que serviriam de auxílio à interpretação do território vimaranense.
